Hi ! In today's Post some news from Ahmedabad and Calcutta .We also welcome a new member from Bangalore.To promote philatelic fraternity Gujarat Philatelists' Association is going to organize one of the biggest festival of Stamps in Ahmedabad. I have some beautiful stamps and M/s for today's Post. A Silver - foiled miniature sheet - 'Five drops of Happiness' is going to be issued on 22 Jauary 2009 by Finland. I have a special stamp issued on International Circus Festival by Monaco. Here are these very nice and beautiful stamps. So today's special Sunday Post is filled with fun, love and happiness. Silver-foiled miniature sheet - Five Drops of Happiness!
Finland will issue a Silver-foiled miniature sheet on 22 January 2009 - Five drops of Happiness.On one stamp, the designer represents the love between two people with two swans embracing. Eternal friendship is expressed by a teddy bear hugging a heart. Valentine’s Day is celebrated with a layer cake. Magical enchantment is depicted by a stamp on which the god of love Cupid is shooting an arrow. Togetherness is shown on a stamp on which three friends are celebrating their friendship. The stamps were designed especially for Valentine’s Day greetings.



Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival 2008
Monaco issued a commemorative stamp on 15 October 2008 on International Circus Festival .The International Monte-Carlo Circus Festival was created in 1974 on the initiative of the Prince Rainier III who lent his credibility to it in a difficult period. This world-renowned event became a reference and the most sought-after distinction by the artists of the Ring, a profession among the most difficult in the world, a calling for the pleasure of the old and young people.

Festival of Stamps
Gujarat Philatelists' Association is going to organize a big Festival of Stamps in Ahmedabad from 30 January to 1 February 2009. Large number of philatelists and dealers from all parts of the country will participate in this festival.The venue of the festival is Srimati Sushilaben Ratilal Hall, opposite Choice Restaurant, C G Road, near Swastik Crossroads, Ahmedabad 380009. Forum of Philately
On February 16, 2009, Gorky Sadan, 3 Gorky Terrace, Kolkata- 700017,near Minto Park (Russian Centre of Science and Culture) jointly with Forum For Philately (a newly formed philatelic association for promotion of philately) organized an exhibition on ‘Cinema and Allied Arts of Bengal in the courtyard of Philately’, a solo exhibition of Mr. Souvik Roy, Kolkata. Dedicated To The Year of India in Russia and 35th Anniversary of Gorky Sadan. The duration of the exhibition will be from February 16th to 18th from 4 PM to 7 PM.

On the same day ‘Forum For Philately’ officially will be inaugurated. Membership will be initially restricted to the philatelists and collectors from West Bengal and Sikkim on recommendation basis. There will be monthly meetings, workshop and exhibition on specific themes. Eminent philatelists from all over the country will be invited for the workshops and exhibitions.
