Week in Review: Crown Princess Mary, 8-15 January

1. Kicking off a busy celebratory week with a reception at Parliament for Queen Margrethe's Ruby Jubilee, 10 January, in a repeated outfit.
2. Opening exhibits related to the jubilee, 11 January.
3. Heading to a wreath-laying ceremony at the graves of King Frederik and Queen Ingrid, 14 January. She also wore it without the hat and with a clutch instead that day. That hat and those boots - must be the most mishmash outfit of the week.
4. a) At Copenhagen's City Hall for a reception, 14 January, with b) a better look at the hat.

5. The jubilee gala performance, 14 January, a) with the cape, b) without, and c) a peek at the back of the repeated dress, all worn with her wedding tiara and some fabulous amethyst earrings.
6. At the State Council meeting, 15 January, a) arriving, and b) without the coat and scarf. You can see she's revived the Valentino pumps from her first appearance when their engagement was announced!

8. a) The jubilee banquet, 15 January, b) with the glorious Danish Ruby Parure, and b) the Prada dress from a prior appearance. She's removed the button thingys on the skirt, thank heavens.

Busy week! What was your favorite Mary outfit from the jubilee?

Week in Review: Crown Princess Mary, 13-19 November

Here's what Mary wore from 13-19 November:

  1. Opening a new campaign for The Mary Foundation, 14 November. Gah! I love this jacket! And the Day Birger et Mikkelsen blouse underneath is a really interesting but lovely pairing.
  2. Opening a youth conference, 16 November. We've seen this Prada number before - from last year's Parliament opening, when she was pregnant with the twins! It's an unusual color combination, but I love it, and the blue shoes are a perfect touch.
  3. Arriving in Australia for a combo private and official visit, 19 November. Speaking of the twins, Princess Josephine here doesn't look too impressed with her first glimpse of Australia, but I'm sure she'll warm to it. The Australian trip is where we will pick up next week.

Week in Review: Crown Princess Mary, 26 June - 2 July

Here's what Mary wore from 26 June - 2 July:

  1. Shopping for carpets in Copenhagen. Oh, the perils of decorating a renovated palace.
  2. Arriving in Monaco, 1 July, a) on Mary and b) from Ralph Lauren. Crochet dresses are treacherous territory if you ask me, but I'm so in love with this one! Especially the pops of aqua/green with the earrings and the Bottega Veneta bag.
  3. Attending the concert/reception for the wedding, 1 July. Best is the earrings, see below.
  4. At the Prince and Princess of Monaco's wedding, 2 July. Still love it!
  5. The evening ball, 2 July. Really, really still love this. Eye-searing deliciousness.
And the earrings I'm on about:
I like a little statement jewelry, what can I say?

Week in Review: Princess Nikolaos, 13-19 March

Here's what Tatiana wore from 13-19 March:

  1. 'Il Pellicano' book launch party at The Royal Automobile Club, 16 March, a) without and b) with her jacket. Well...see through lace...not so much. I'm really only enjoying the pop of color in the Bottega Veneta clutch here.

Week in Review: Crown Princess Mary, 22-28 August

Here's what Crown Princess Mary wore the week of 22-28 August:
  1. Leaving a friend's apartment in Australia, 22 August.
  2. Pre-wedding party for Nikolaos' and Tatiana's wedding, 24 August.
  3. Greek wedding, 25 August.
  4. At a swim meet and then later at Prince Nikolai's birthday part, 28 August.
Best and Worst of the Week
I liked the swim meet outfit, but I've already professed my love for that blouse.  (It must be difficult to dress that bump, we don't usually see such repeats from Mary.)  So that leaves us with the wedding for both the high and the low points of the week.
