- Attending a gala for the King Baudouin Foundation, 10 May, a) on Mathilde, and b) from Dries Van Noten. Well, okay...should we: 1) dispare once again the length of her clothes or 2) be thankful she knew she couldn't pull off the genie in a bottle look? I'll pick 3) just be happy she went with a Belgian designer that is NOT Natan, and shut up about the rest of it.
- Handing out the 2011 Princess Mathilde Prize, 12 May. I think we've got the beginnings of an orange shoe rut on our hands, friends. I mean, I didn't think such a thing was possible, but here it is. First, she repeats the shoes she wore for the pre-wedding reception in London (and note the other orange shoes on display that week as well), and then she repeats a pair of orange pumps we saw just last week. Oh, she's just breaking ground left and right this week, eh?
