Happy 42th Birthday Ari Behn!

On this day 42 years ago — September 30th 1972 — Ari came into the world in the town of Aarhus, Denmark, where his parents, Olav Bjørnshol and Marianne Rafaela Solberg, lived for a short period of time.

On May 24th 2002, Ari married Princess Märtha Louise with whom he has three children, Maud Angelica Behn, 11, Leah Isadora Behn, 9, and Emma Tallulah Behn, 6.
The husband of the Norwegian Princess was born Ari Bjørnshol, but changed his name to Behn, which is the maiden name of his maternal grandmother, in 1996.
Just the day after Princess Märtha Louise and Ari Behn’s youngest daughter, Emma, turned six, it’s time for the Norwegian author to celebrate his own birthday.
