Sweden's royal palace says Princess Madeleine has given birth to a son, just two days after she attended the wedding of her brother, Prince Carl Philip. The Swedish princess, 33, gave birth to a son on Monday, June 15, welcoming her second child with husband Christopher O'Neill.

The royal family broke the happy news in a statement on the official Facebook page of Kungahuset. In a statement, the marshal of the realm said Madeleine gave birth Monday at 1:45 p.m. (1145 GMT; 7:45 a.m. EDT) and that "both mother and child are in good health"
