Here is a clipping published in popular Hindi Daily, Dainik Jagran about our distinguished member Mr Ashwani Kumar Dubey of Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh who has been posting a large number of Post Cards to philatelists all over country from Chauri Chaura, an important place in the history of struggle for Independence. He is campaigning for a commemorative postage stamp to be issued by Postal Department to mark this important place. Well let's hope his endeavor and perseverance may get the notice of India Post.I have also received a number of Post Cards from Mr Dubey for which I express my gratitude. But I have a request to Mr Dubey to send 2-3 cards to each person not in bulk as the purpose is solved with few cards only.It will save his time & money both. His effort for this campaign is highly appreciated and he was recently honored by Chhattisgarh Philatelic Society during Dak Ticket Milan ( Stamp Fair) which was organized in Bilaspur.
