Vessels that met disaster
The dangerous waters of the Channel Island have been testing ships to destruction for centuries. On 12th July 2011, Jersey Post issued a set of six stamps and a Miniature sheet depicting some of the vessels which have met disaster in the sea surrounding the Island. An accompanying Prestige Booklet brings to the life the tales of these ship and the fate which befell them. All the philatelic items issued are just wonderful. The sheetlet is very nice with different types of lighthouses on the tab.
